Bergumermeer

Bergumermeer Camping is a child-friendly four-star campsite on the number one lake in Friesland, Bergumermeer. This campsite is the ideal base for sailing, surfing, walking and cycling.

You can hire sailing boats ('optimists', 'falcons'), take sailing lessons, hire a motor boat, or take out a scooter. At the campsite itself, you'll find bungalows and other holiday homes (villas), camping places, mobile homes, chalets and ramblers' huts.

There's also great cycling (and cycle hire), fishing, swimming and walking. We have our own child-friendly beach on the lake. The campsite has a covered swimming pool, a superb restaurant, a disco and marina, plus an enthusiastic recreation team in the summer months.

The eleven towns of Friesland are nearby, and the pretty university town of Groningen is not far away.
