Our extensive pools offer hours of sailing pleasure; and Heegermeer is close by. This centrally located body of water is the ideal starting point for day trips to all kinds of towns and villages in Friesland, each with its own atmosphere and character.

Heeg Water Sports Campsite has everything for surfers. The special surfing beach and good surfing water around make this a great spot for new surfers. More experienced surfers can live it up to the full on the Heegermeer.

This campsite also has everything you could want for fishing. There's great fishing sitting on one of the four jetties. Or would you rather go out into the peace of the Friesland flatlands? Then take your rowing boat. Ten minutes' rowing takes you to the Rintjepoel, where you can fish all on your own in an oasis of peace and quiet.

Heg Water Sports Campsite is a great holiday destination for families with children above all. Its sheltered location on a 'private lake' (no throughway for pleasure and working boats) means children can sail and surf freely here. And, for the very little ones, there is not only the playground but a children's beach with endless playing pleasure.
