De Kuilart Recreation Park and Water sports Centre De Kuilart is right in the centre of the prettiest part of Friesland, the south-west corner, right by the Fluessen, six kilometres from the Gaasterland woods and six kilometres from the IJsselmeer at Stavoren. Seven of Friesland's eleven sites are within a radius of 20 km like a string of pearls around De Kuilart.
